Class Description
Spanish 3 is a more advanced level course designed to further develop students’ proficiency in the Spanish language. This course builds upon the skills acquired in Spanish 1 and 2, with a stronger emphasis on refining communication abilities in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Course Objectives:
Expand their understanding of complex grammatical structures, including the subjective mood, conditional tense, compound verb tenses, and more advanced sentence structures.
Increased focus will be placed on conversational fluency, encouraging students to engage in spontaneous discussions, debates, and presentations in Spanish.
Reading and listening comprehension will be enhanced through exposure to authentic Spanish-language materials, such as short stories, articles, music, and video clips from Spanish-speaking cultures.
Cultural exploration remains a key component of the course, with students learning about the traditions, history, literature, and contemporary issues of various Spanish-speaking countries.
