Living Healthy for the glory of God

Text: A Beka Book Health in Christian Perspective ISBN # 62081011. (any edition is fine)

I have some books available to rent or buy. $10 per book. If you rent, you get back $5 at the end of the year when you return the book in good condition.

This class will be taught from a Christian worldview. They will learn what good health is and how to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle for the glory of God. There will be additional handouts, projects and hands on activities. It will focus on developing healthy habits physically, socially, mentally and spiritually. A goal for the students is to not only grow in knowledge and understanding of health, but to be responsible and motivated to take care of their bodies and honor God with them throughout their life.

This class is a full year academic class (i.e. quizzes, etc.), earning 1 credit, and operating on the elementary/middle school schedule.

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
