This course gives students the tools to develop good spiritual, social, mental and physical health with Health in Christian Perspective. It emphasizes staying healthy through proper diet, exercise, and personal hygiene, learning the systems of the body, keeping a sound mind, practicing personal safety, administering first aid, preventing disease, avoiding drugs and pursuing right relationships. Biblical discernment is also encouraged as it applies to health. Different positions in the medical field are discussed. A goal for the students is to not only grow in knowledge and understanding of health, but to be responsible and motivated to take care of their bodies and honor God with them throughout their life.
