EMMA

Students will learn the basics of reading music notation in the treble clef and will perform various musical articulations and understand basic music symbols and how to successfully interpret them when applying them to their weekly song assignments and as a group during class. Students will learn proper vocal warmup techniques and the solfege system of pitch syllables. Students will bring their textbooks and repertoire binders with them to class every week and will have singing tests from a specific song from their repertoire binders or from their textbooks that they must independently prepare through regular practice and perform in front of their peers each week.
