EMMA

Students will learn the basics of reading music notation in the treble and bass clef and will perform various musical articulations and understand basic music symbols and how to successfully interpret them when applying them to their weekly song assignments and as a group during class. Students will bring their own keyboards, accessories, and textbooks with them to class every week and will have weekly playing assignments and occasionally written homework assignments at the end of the instructional unit. Students will also have weekly playing tests that they must independently prepare through regular daily practice and perform in front of their peers each week.
