Class Description

Examining the western art canon from ancient to contemporary, as well as differing social contexts and artistic goals throughout time. Students will have quizzes/tests based reading and lecture material. The goal for this course is for students to be able to form and verbalize their subjective thoughts on art itself as they gain objective knowledge.
