Text / Materials Required

* 3-ring binder (2 inches or larger) - should already contain 6 dividers, labeled with each of the following: New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Great Lakes, Quizzes, and Miscellaneous.
* Add the following dividers to the notebook: Central Plains, Southwest, Mountain, Pacific
* Sharpened pencils and colored pencils

Class Description

This class is designed to familiarize students with our great 50 states.  Students will learn to locate all 50 states and memorize their capitals and  abbreviations. They will study famous landmarks and people, and enjoy  completing activities that aid in mastery of the geography of the USA.  Public speaking skills will also be a focus as oral presentations are given  for the regions of study.
