Class Description
Fall semester
Third Grade students will learn American History beginning with Native Americans through the Constitution. We will use the Heritage Studies for Christian Schools Book 3 – Families in Early America. The books will be loaned to the student for the semester. Please be respectful of these books as they are the property of the EMMA classes and are generously loaned to the students. Students will receive their textbooks on the first day of class. Class time will include reviewing the assignment, lapbooks, worksheets and reading from applicable sources.
Spring semester
Third Grade students will learn American History beginning with the Constitution through present day. We will use the Heritage Studies for Christian Schools Book 4 – An Expanding Nation. The books will be loaned to the student for the semester. Please be respectful of these books as they are the property of the EMMA classes and are generously loaned to the students. Students will receive their textbooks on the first day of class. Class time will include reviewing the assignment, lapbooks, worksheets and reading from applicable sources.
