Faber and Faber Piano Adventures Primer Level method books (set of three - Lesson, Performance and Theory books), 49- or 61-key keyboard with power supply, keyboard stand, music stand and extension cord
Class Description
Students will learn the basics of reading music notation in the treble and bass clef and will perform various musical articulations and understand basic music symbols and how to successfully interpret them when applying them to their weekly song assignments and as a group during class. Students will bring their own keyboards, accessories, and textbooks with them to class every week and will have weekly playing assignments from their Lesson and Performance books and written homework assignments from their Theory books. Students will also have weekly playing tests from either their Lesson or Performance books that they must independently prepare through regular daily practice and perform in front of their peers each week.
