Text: Faber and Faber Piano Adventures Primer Level method books (set of three - Lesson, Performance and Theory books) plus 49- or 61-key keyboard with keyboard stand, music stand and batteries
Class Description
Students will learn the basics of reading music notation in the treble and bass clef and will perform various musical articulations and understand basic music symbols and how to successfully interpret them when applying them to their weekly song assignments and as a group during class. Students will bring their own keyboards, accessories, and textbooks with them to class every week and will have weekly written homework assignments from their Music Theory books. Students will also have weekly playing quizzes from either their Lesson or Performance books that they must independently prepare through regular daily practice and perform in front of their peers each week.
