This class will encourage students to become more confident readers in a fun and relaxing classroom setting.  Using the A-Z Readers curriculum, students will have before-reading, reading , and after-reading sections for each Reader.  Before-reading is becoming familiar with the different parts of the Reader.  During the reading section students and mentor will use the I, We, You approach. (I read, We read, You read). The after-reading section provides comprehension checks and activities.

The Readers will start on a beginner 3rd grade level and go through a beginner 5th grade level.  This class is designed to be a two semester class, taken both fall semester and spring semester.

Note: Since I have an autoimmune health issue, I will be masked if necessary.
