I love learning about important people in our history! There are so many valuable lessons that we can learn from these people. My desire is to not only teach about some of these heroes, but to instill a love of learning about others with your child. There will be homework each week, and I will also send out an e-mail each week that has additional resources that you may want to use with your child. The additional resources are optional, but can help you as you are planning your homeschool week.

We will be studying different eras of American history, and some of the heroes that transformed history. The first week of each unit we learn about that specific time in history to get some context, then focus on one or two people each week.
