Text / Materials Required
This class will focus on cardiovascular fitness with an emphasis on health & wellness. The goal will be to introduce students to a variety of wellness-related activities so they have the ability to be physically active for life.
In-class PE activities for the fall semester will focus on circuit/cross training & volleyball. The spring semester will focus on broom hockey & tennis.
Many other recreational/team games & sports will be incorporated throughout each semester.
Personal health will also be discussed in order for students to earn a credit for both PE & health. Students will be asked to complete assignments outside of class & tests will be given.
