Beginning Sign Language or equivalent (NO NEW STUDENTS for spring semester)
Text / Materials Required
This class is the next level for students who have completed a class in beginning sign language or have had the equivalent. Students will continue to build sign vocabulary and practice conversational skills and will be encouraged to look for ways to use their skills in everyday life. No textbook is needed as we will use teacher-created handouts, supplemented by websites. Internet access and practice during the week is required. Learning activities, games, songs, and skits will be used. This is a year-long class. The grade levels for this class will be strictly adhered to.
